About Me
Born and raised in the countryside of Minas Gerais, but a citizen of the world. A bookworm crazy about TV shows and music and a yoga lover. When it comes to knowledge, good is not enough. Cultural and linguistic diversity has always fascinated me. At the age of 7, my favorite hobby was pretending to chat with my imaginary friends in dreamed up languages. At 15, I found a way to have fun my entire life: I would become a Translator. I suppose I took to heart the quote "Choose a job you love, and you will never have to work a day in your life". At 18, I made the first move in my career when I moved to São José do Rio Preto to attend the Translation course at UNESP. That's where I grew up and the world got smaller. I learned that determination can overcome any obstacle. At 20 years old, I seized the opportunity of going on a student exchange program at Santiago de Compostela University in Spain. These were challenging times, but a unique learning opportunity too. At 24, the country girl took on the big city of São Paulo, which is my home now, bringing valuable experiences and a professional background of incalculable worth. At 28, after working several years at a leading translation company, I decided it was time to fly on my own. Now a businesswoman, the 7-year-old child found out that the reality can be as magical as the imaginary world.
